flipturn and Eleni Drake Reimagine “Swim Between Trees” in Intimate New Release

Indie rock band flipturn recruits singer/songwriter and recent tour mate Eleni Drake to deliver a soft, stripped-down version of fan-favorite “Swim Between Trees,” creating a new intimate counterpart to the original and allowing fans to hear it through a fresh emotional lens. Eleni brings her crystalline and emotive vocals to a reimagined take on the track, originally released on the band’s sophomore album Burnout Days, which has been called “the culmination of a decade” (SPIN) and “atmospheric, introspective material” (Under The Radar) from “one of the most innovative bands out now” (Ones To Watch).
flipturn and Eleni began a kindred partnership together on the band’s first UK/EU 2024 tour. Now, both artists are set to hit the road again. flipturn kicks off their run on Nov. 1 in Amsterdam and wraps on Dec. 6 in Central Coast, AU. Eleni Drake tours throughout 2025 in support of her new studio album CHUCK, out on 31st October via MNRK. Full dates below.
