Yung Lean Launches North American Tour with Bladee, Niontay, Xaviersobased, Taxidermists, and ear in Tow
Yung Lean is bringing his genre-blurring sound stateside with a 12-city North American tour kicking off this Saturday. Fresh off the release of Jonatan, the Swedish rapper will be joined by rising acts Niontay, Xaviersobased, Taxidermists, and ear across select dates. From Detroit to Montreal, fans can expect a kaleidoscopic live experience that reflects Lean’s decade-long evolution.
According to a press release from Yung Lean’s management, the 12-city North American run will be followed by a European leg. The tour comes on the heels of his May album Jonatan
Lean and long-time friend Bladee recently released two new collaborative singles, “INFERNO” and “Evil World,” continuing the momentum from their groundbreaking joint album last year, Psykos. Following their respective headlining tours this fall, the duo will take the show to Australia and New Zealand for six performances as part of Laneway Festival. Their new collaborative live show, which blends music from across both artists’ catalogues, first premiered during a run of major summer festivals to wide acclaim.
Watch a past Yung Lean performance:
Since bursting onto the global stage in 2013 with his twice-viral “Ginseng Strip 2002,” which was the #1 TikTok song globally in 2022, the now 28-year-old artist is over a decade into a career that has been shockingly unique, not only for his international success as a Swedish rapper, but also the partnerships he has forged and the sheer potency of his art.
Having collaborated with mainstream rappers like Travis Scott, alt-pop stars like FKA Twigs, and avant-garde experimentalists like Dean Blunt, Yung Lean has explored the limits of genre with projects like JonatanLeandoer96 and his punk band Död Mark. With Jonatan, he makes his most direct artistic statement yet, one that synthesizes his career to date into a singular and powerful statement of intent.
With a stacked lineup and a decade of sonic evolution behind him, Yung Lean’s North American tour is poised to be a landmark moment for fans old and new. From underground favorites to festival-ready collaborations, each stop promises a unique experience that reflects the artist’s ever-expanding universe. Fans eager to witness the next phase of Lean’s journey should grab tickets now—this is one tour you won’t want to miss.
