This release is the group\u2019s most recent foray into the \u2014 continually changing \u2014 sound of heavy music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A press release from Portrayal of Guilt&#8217;s management also announced a North American headlining Spring tour, which starts with a hometown send off show the 9th of May at Mohawk in Austin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The run crosses the East Coast, Midwest, with&nbsp;<strong>Pageninetynine, Taraneh, Halloween<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>The Infinity Ring<\/strong>&nbsp;supporting select dates.  For a full list of dates, see below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Back to the new album, <strong><em>\u2026Beginning of the End<\/em><\/strong> is a curious title for a band that has treated each release like a new creative start, constantly reinventing themselves since their inception less than a decade ago.&nbsp;<em>\u2026Beginning of the End<\/em>&nbsp;embraces both the groove and avant garde, revisiting the raw, teeth-gnashing intensity of their previous work while toying with nu-metal, alternative rock, trip-hop, dark ambient and other disparate influences. The latest effort feels like a band that has traversed every shadowy corner of heavy music, distilling their decade of innovation and knowledge into a singular show of force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The band is sharing their first preview of&nbsp;<strong><em>\u2026Beginning of the End&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong>with lead singles&nbsp;<strong>\u201cEcstasy\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;and<strong>&nbsp;\u201cHuman Terror&#8221;,&nbsp;<\/strong>which together capture the album\u2019s dynamic, expansive direction. Both are available across streaming platforms today via&nbsp;<strong>Run For Cover<\/strong>&nbsp;alongside a classic, sinister video for \u201cEcstasy\u201d, directed by Craig Murray, and a visualiser for \u201cHuman Terror\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pre-order<em> &#8230;Begining of the End<\/em>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe src = \"https:\/\/pog.lnk.to\/ecstasy\" height = \"600px\" width = \"100%\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the years, the revered Austin trio have toured the world over, creating their own musical eco-system and released three seminal full-length albums, they have done it in a manner that avoided compromise, welcomed free experimentation and avoided labels outside of &#8220;menacing&#8221;, \u201ccompelling\u201d and \u201cmust hear\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Portrayal of Guilt made an immediate impact in underground circles with their debut,&nbsp;<em>Let Pain Be Your Guide,<\/em>&nbsp;by mixing nihilistic hardcore, black metal, classic screamo, and imaginative textures.&nbsp;<em>We Are Always Alone<\/em>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<em>CHRISTF*CKER<\/em>&nbsp;LPs followed in 2021, the band\u2019s breakout body blows that corroded the band\u2019s commitment to genre, nodding at industrial music, post-metal, sludge and even post-hardcore, all while cementing the band\u2019s tendencies toward experimentalism.
