Samantha Fish continues to push the boundaries of modern blues-rock with the release of the Paper Doll<\/em> digital deluxe edition. Featuring two dynamic new tracks \u2014 the introspective \u201cDead Armadillo\u201d and a haunting rendition of Neil Young\u2019s \u201cDon\u2019t Let It Bring You Down\u201d \u2014 the expanded album captures Fish\u2019s fearless creativity and emotional depth. As she gears up for an international tour, Fish reaffirms her place as one of today\u2019s most innovative guitarists and vocalists, uniting raw energy with refined artistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a press release from Samantha Fish’s management, the Paper Doll <\/em>deluxe edition is out since Friday, October 10th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding “Don’t Let It Bring You Down,” Samantha shared, “I started performing the Neil Young song during the pandemic. The lyrics have a dark and bleak quality, but they also hint at the possibility of change<\/a>. Even if Neil intended it to be sarcastic, it resonated with us at that time, and people seemed to enjoy our version, so we decided to record it.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
