Philly Music Fest returns with a bold expansion and a lineup that celebrates the soul of the city\u2019s music scene. This year\u2019s festival spans nine nights and venues, spotlighting homegrown talent while fueling music education through its nonprofit mission. The excitement begins with a long-awaited dream fulfilled\u2014Dr. Dog\u2019s electrifying two-night stand at Ardmore Music Hall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to a press release from the organizers of the Philly Music Fest,\u00a0Dr. Dog\u00a0will be the surprise headliner kicking off the ninth annual event for two nights\u00a0October 13 and 14<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0Ardmore Music Hall.\u00a0<\/strong>Fresh off of their September performance at Citizens Bank Park,\u00a0Dr. Dog\u00a0<\/strong>will bring their unique blend of indie, psychedelic, folk, and rock, to a capacity of 1000\u00a0PMF<\/strong>\u00a0concert go-ers (500 each night), culminating in an intimate and memorable concert experience for all.\u00a0\u00a0Tickets will be available for purchase to the public on Tuesday, September 23rd via\u00a0Philly Music Fest\u00a0<\/a>and\u00a0Ardmore Music Hall’s<\/a>\u00a0official websites.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Dr. Dog\u00a0<\/strong>playing\u00a0Philly Music Fest<\/strong>\u00a0is a nine-year dream come true. Each year,\u00a0Dr. Dog\u00a0<\/strong>is my first email, my first call,” says\u00a0Producer and Founder Greg Seltze<\/strong>r. “The band always seemed receptive, but was either touring, recording or taking a break. This year, the stars aligned and we are so fortunate to have\u00a0Dr. Dog<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0playing two incredibly special shows in support of\u00a0Philly\u00a0Music Fes<\/strong>t.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
